About the Webcam/slow pc issue, could it possibly be the usb? Is it USB2? I know that probably isn't the issue, but maybe. Windows 2000 in general is a very good OS, but outdated in some respects when it comes to USB (atleast from what I've heard).

Dude we're getting a Dell. My working-with-something-computer-related cousin told my mom THE EXACT SAME THING you told me. Haha got a good "I told ya so" from that.
